Bay Venues Ltd manages Tauranga City's aquatic network along with Trustpower Baypark Stadium and Arena, indoor sports facilities, including fully equipped gyms, community centres and halls offering a broad range of programmes, events and venues across Tauranga and the wider region. We aim to deliver the highest standard of customer service and excellent value to Tauranga residents and to visitors to our region.

We have the exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and energetic Casual Receptionists to join our reception teams at the Trustpower Arena, Mount Hot Pools, Baywave TECT Aquatic and Leisure Centre and Greerton Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

As the face of our venue and organisation you will be responsible for providing customers with the highest level of service and doing everything you can to ensure everyone enjoys their experience at our venues.

To be successful you will:

• Be passionate about connecting with our broad range of customers who come from a variety of cultures, ages and backgrounds.
• Have relevant face to face customer service experience, ideally in leisure and venue environments.
• Have cash handling experience and the ability to complete end of shift cash-ups accurately and in a timely manner.
• Have proven administrative skills, where attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
• Be incredibly level headed with the ability to provide fantastic service to our customers during busy periods.
• Have the maturity to deal with stressful and emergency situations.
• Be reliable, a team player and willing to go the extra mile.
• Have a high level of personal presentation.

These are casual roles, on an as and when required basis, to cover planned and unplanned absences. There are a range of shifts from 5.30am through to 10.30pm, including weekends, public holidays and school holidays, with plenty of hours available both weekdays and weekends.
